Perhaps it's just me and the stuff I'm used to and theoretically / practically you can achieve the same stuff with zypps vendor stickiness (limited to practical usage). Point just being is that as long as such, apparently simple, stuff like switching all packages from one repository to the other isn't possible it is somehow a pita to use. However, if its already fixed in SVN trunk it is great news :) Congrats & thanks a lot for this! Can we expect those changes to get into libzypp / zypper in time for 10.2? And also would that mean support of wildcards (even at least for repositories - like e.g. "zypper dup --from kde4*" if my repos are names kde4-desktop, kde4-community, ...? Another thing regarding zypps priorities which annoys me (and apparently quite some other people according to IRC) quite a bit is that you decided to set the artificial zero point to 100 instead of simply using 0. E.g. in every other priority system simply "0" is the default / don't care option and the higher or lower the numbers get the higher or lower goes the preference / aversion. E.g. -100 is worse than -50 is worse than 0 is worse than 50 is worse than 100. This requires no explanation, is understandable by everyone one the first look without any background knowledge and is, simply put, just common sense, but with zypp I have to constantly remember what the zero point is and if bigger is more wanted or the other way.
