[Bug 1184932] New: Remnants of python2 stack still present (after "zypper dup")
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1184932 Bug ID: 1184932 Summary: Remnants of python2 stack still present (after "zypper dup") Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: gp@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- This system has been updated via "zypper dup" for seven, eight months after my new notebook was installed from scratch. Trying to slim down things a bit, I noticed remnants of the old python2 stack that do not appear to be needed any longer: # zypper -v rm --clean-deps python : The following 3 packages are going to be REMOVED: libpython2_7-1_0 2.7.18-5.2 python 2.7.18-5.3 python-base 2.7.18-5.2 3 packages to remove. After the operation, 27,3 MiB will be freed. Is this something the "zypper dup" magic machinery could take care for us? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
