This system has been updated via "zypper dup" for seven, eight months after my new notebook was installed from scratch. Trying to slim down things a bit, I noticed remnants of the old python2 stack that do not appear to be needed any longer: # zypper -v rm --clean-deps python : The following 3 packages are going to be REMOVED: libpython2_7-1_0 2.7.18-5.2 python 2.7.18-5.3 python-base 2.7.18-5.2 3 packages to remove. After the operation, 27,3 MiB will be freed. Is this something the "zypper dup" magic machinery could take care for us?
