https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=377512 Summary: CPU Frequency Scaling Applet randomly disappears after a login Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: vuntz@novell.com ReportedBy: captain.magnus@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- CPU Frequency Scaling Applet randomly disappears after a login. I've got 4 cpu frequency scaling applets (one per cpu core) running in my panel. Sometimes when I login, only 3 of them show up, sometimes all 4. Furthermore, they keep showing up in random order (ie, I ordered them as core 0, 1, 2 and 3 but it wont stick) Let me know what information I can provide to troubleshoot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But you don't need to add it back, am I right? You're just waiting for the next time you log in? No
Can you try killing the cpufreq-applet process? How many reload dialogs do you get? If you click on all of them, do you get all your applets? I get all four of them and they all come back if I chose 'reload'
