from PyQt4 import phonon Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: cannot import name phonon from PyKDE4 import phonon
Per the PyQt documentation, the first import should work (see class reference here: http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/static/Docs/PyQt4/html/classes.html). Using PyKDE4 works, but it leads to code not being cross compatible between systems without specifically testing whether to use PyQT4 or PyKDE4. Installing a user copy of QT4, python, and PyQt4 from source allows the import to work properly. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
