Now, that is weird. Installed factory from openSUSE-Factory-NET-i586-Build0043-Media.iso, verified that OOo is indeed 3.0.99.2-1.3, but fail to see the crash. Anything else except running a simple slideshow? He thinks that it is related to boost. He reproduces it with boost-1.37 but not with boost-1.35. We have recently switched from boost-1.36 to boost-1.38 in Factory.
