Both are shown in the following screenshot: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/openSUSE_11.1/compiz-appswitch-stuck.jpg First, the application-switcher (alt+tab) thumbnails remain on-screen after the application switcher closes. Second, for some reason starting compiz and using the application switcher causes the start menu (green lizard head) icon to disappear. I don't even have a guess why, but you can see both issues in the screenshot.
