[Bug 1015177] New: SDDM password with accents
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1015177 Bug ID: 1015177 Summary: SDDM password with accents Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: fmuro@us.es QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- If you type an accented character, e.g. á ê ì ö, or just the accent itself ' ` ^ in the password slot, SDDM freezes. This is a pain for me since I tend to use these characters in my passwords (so far, it's the only way I've found to have strong passwords that I can remember). Checking with Google, this bug seems to have been reported and recently solved in Mageia: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18822 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
