[Bug 970809] New: Old SuSE branding present in l10n strings
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=970809 Bug ID: 970809 Summary: Old SuSE branding present in l10n strings Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: 2015* Hardware: Other OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: maiktapwagner@aol.com QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello everyone, I just joined the l10n team of openSUSE and began to submit some translations. One file that I have been working on is vpn.de.po (German). I would like to let you know that there is mention of a "SuSE firewall" but AFAIK the branding has changed to SUSE (all in capitals). I translated the file as far as I could using KDE's lokalize application. Feel free to proofread it as well. The German file can be found under the following URL: http://www.vertaal.tk/files/factory-yast-de-vpn-de-po/detail/ Regards, Maik Wagner -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I guess this has gone unnoticed for a long, long time. It should be a matter of a "grep" in the newly generated .po files and then changing each of those strings in the respective module. It's probably more overhead to write a change log entry, bump the version number etc. than to do the real change, though. Fixed by https://github.com/yast/yast-firstboot/pull/88 (yast2-firstboot >= 4.2.6) See submit requests for TW https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/757894 and for SLE-15-SP2 (and Leap 15.2) https://build.suse.de/request/show/208148 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
