http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1188132 Bug ID: 1188132 Summary: duplicity version is broken causing deja-dup to fail Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: gnome-bugs@suse.de Reporter: felix.niederwanger@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 850874 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=850874&action=edit Screenshot of failing deja-dup # Observation deja-dup fails to create backups today, because the version of duplicity is not recognised (see attached Screenshot0. duplicity seems indeed to have some issues with returning the current version:
phoenix@tumbleweed:~> duplicity --version duplicity $version
The expected output should return a version number instead of $version, e.g.
phoenix@leap15_3:~> duplicity --version duplicity 0.8.11
