One solution discussed here (https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/10735) is to switch from runc to crun.
This would be my preference
Another solution discussed here (https://github.com/containers/common/issues/631) is to keep common locked to 0.39.0 until the issue is fixed in other places.
I wouldn't object to this
Probably this (https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/11031) is the solution and should get merged for the next podman release or maybe 3.3.0.
Both solutions work, Richard, what do you think?
How hard would it be to move to crun? Just a quick flick of the config in this package and away we go? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I don't think it's been submitted to SLE yet because we haven't had a relevant BZ bug or Docker release, but I can submit it to SLE now if you like. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

FWIW, I tried to do that here:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:dfaggioli:branches: Virtualization:containers/crun
Would be nice to build for architectures that are in https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/devel:kubic, but I guess that's covered in your branch.
s390 and ppc64le are available in our labs.
Well, SR https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/914071 , where I implemented what I proposed above, is now in factory. Basically, I've dropped the ExclusiveArch, so the package should be buildable on any arch that satisfies the dependencies. And libkrun is only going to be a dependency if we are on x86 or aarch64. Hope this could help. :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
