After restarting the whole machine I do not see this anymore. So this may get hard to debug. I also remember seeing this with 11.0, it was one of the reasons I updated to 11.1. Also, what exactly do you mean with that you don't see this issue any more after restarting the whole machine? Was this a one time only issue? After rebooting things were better. I had the feeling the "one second black screen" happened more and more often until I rebootet. I'll give UseAtomBIOS a try, but it may take a while.
