Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mmeeks@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I log in, and shortly afterwards quit by zapping the X server - ctrl-alt-backspace. I log in again, then I have two of a number of daemons: 2982 ? S 0:00 /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd 3025 ? S 0:00 /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-trash --spawner :1.7 /org/gtk/gvfs/exec_spaw/0 3301 ? I guess they're managed and killed by the session. I vaguely remember looking at/rolling a fix for something like this for bonobo-activation-server to quit with the X server. Maybe we can do something similar here. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Likewise b-a-s waits for it's clients to die & exits [ like gconfd-2 ]. Having said that some nice guy (Ray?) just committed a fix to cleanup b-a-s and gconfd-2 with the session to up-stream / Gnome 2.<next>. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I have checked every process running and I cannot find anything attached to this directory, however after a reboot you can chown/touch/rm the directory. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
