[Bug 1222086] zypper as non-root always reports repositories are out-of-date (regression)
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1222086 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1222086#c8 Michael Andres <ma@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #8 from Michael Andres <ma@suse.com> --- zypper-1.14.71 no longer tries to refresh any repository data for non-root users. It will just print some stats about age and availability of metadata.
Repository : Time since last refresh packman : 1 h 21 min repo-backports-update : No metadata available! Skipping it! repo-non-oss : 1 h 21 min repo-oss : 1 h 21 min repo-sle-update : 1 h 21 min repo-update : 2 s repo-update-non-oss : 1 h 21 min
Note: Running with user privileges. From time to time run 'zypper refresh' as root to make sure the repository metadata are complete and up-to-date.
Note: This applies only to the systems repositories (root=/). If one created a root as user, it is still possible to add and refresh repos therein. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
