armv6hl kernel config patch queued for master branch.
https://kernel.opensuse.org/cgit/kernel-source/commit/?id=3a3001abb52f1ba913... was insufficient. Another config change is queued, which together with a custom DT overlay is confirmed to enable ttyS1 (note: not ttyS0 as on RPi3). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Same issue here, Raspberry Pi 3, with openSUSE TW: no text on USB/Serial console, via GPIO.
That sounds entirely unrelated to the armv6hl based Raspberry Pi Zero W kernel. Serial is working fine on my Raspberry Pi 3, so it's not an arm64 kernel issue. I suggest you report your problem with more details (such as bootloader serial output) to the opensuse-arm mailing list first. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
