[Bug 1141480] New: conntrackd 1.4.5 fails to parse helper configuration
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1141480 Bug ID: 1141480 Summary: conntrackd 1.4.5 fails to parse helper configuration Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: mkubecek@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Adding a helper section to conntrackd.conf, e.g. Helper { Type mdns inet udp { QueueNum 7 QueueLen 10240 Policy mdns { ExpectMax 8 ExpectTimeout 30 } } } results in conntrackd failing to start with [ERROR] unknown layer 3 protocol because the parser uses everything up to the closing "}" when matching against the "inet" (or "inet6") keyword. This was fixed in upstream by commit c12fa8df7675 conntrackd: Use strdup in lexer Another issue is potential buffer overflow in processing Path directive for unix socket. This has been fixed by commits ce06fb606906 conntrackd: use strncpy() to unix path b47e00e8a579 conntrackd: use correct max unix path length I'll send a submit request with all three patches in a moment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
