http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1124088 Bug ID: 1124088 Summary: /bin/dracut-emergency refers to /dev/consoles (with an s) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Factory Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader Assignee: jsrain@suse.com Reporter: tjcw@cantab.net QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- I had a problem booting, which turned out to be that my root fs needed an fsck. I got this message from the boot process: /bin/dracut-emergency: line 43: /dev/consoles: No such file or diectory Give root password for maintenance (or press Control-D to continue) I gave the root password, did 'cat /bin/dracut-emergency', and line 43 did indeed refer to /dev/consoles . I take it that this should be /dev/console . Please change if appropriate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
