I had a problem booting, which turned out to be that my root fs needed an fsck. I got this message from the boot process: /bin/dracut-emergency: line 43: /dev/consoles: No such file or diectory Give root password for maintenance (or press Control-D to continue) I gave the root password, did 'cat /bin/dracut-emergency', and line 43 did indeed refer to /dev/consoles . I take it that this should be /dev/console . Please change if appropriate.
