[Bug 949808] New: XFCE ignores HintAuto and mounts non-removable devices
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=949808 Bug ID: 949808 Summary: XFCE ignores HintAuto and mounts non-removable devices Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 2015* Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xfce Assignee: bnc-team-xfce@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: arvidjaar@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- TW 20151002. I do "losetup -P -f foo" and partition on /dev/loop0p1 gets mounted (I did not intend it). If I disable "Mount removable media when hot-plugged", /dev/loop0p1 is not mounted. Checking with udiskctl info, /dev/loop0p1 correctly has HintAuto set to false. Actually it also has HintSystem but I'm running as root. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Tried this right now with a Leap-42.3 iso (partitioned hybrid) and it does not show up in thunar nor get mounted automatically.
Is this still happening for you?
yes, on Leap 42.3. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

ping, does the package http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/seife:/xfce/ openSUSE_Tumbleweed/x86_64/ (thunar-volman-0.8.1-42.1.x86_64.rpm right now) fix the issue for you?
Yes, device is not mounted automatically (install thunar and thunar-volume); tested under Leap 42.3 (which is what I have with XFCE right now). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
