--- Comment #3 from Marina Latini
Using Plasma with pipewire-pulseaudio is only implemented on Tumbleweed so far.
However, it should be possible to backport the pipewire relevant parts of https://build.opensuse.org/package/rdiff/KDE:Frameworks5/plasma5- pa?linkrev=base&rev=247 to 15.3.
from what I saw yesterday in the openSUSE Italian group on telegram, Ivo was able to install plasma5-pa just forcing to break the dependencies on Leap 15.3. I suspect that the changes you mentioned (avoid to always Require pulseaudio-module-x11) should already do the job. Some other pipewire users on tumbleweed reported that plasma5-pa works perfectly for them.
However, I'm not sure to which extent the pipewire version in 15.3 works together with plasma5-pa. Development is happening at a fast pace, so they might be missing important fixes. Did you encounter any bugs with that combination?

--- Comment #5 from Fabian Vogt
There was meanwhile another thread on reddit about this, where another user reports successful use of pipewire with plasma5-pa on Leap 15.3. So that should be sufficient evidence that this combination works well enough that package dependencies shouldn't prevent it, even without using an unofficial repo to get the latest version of PW.
