When openoffice is started and has a taskbar icon/entry, there is no problem so long as the mouse is in the openoffice window or hovering over the openoffice icon/entry in the taskbar. However, whenever the mouse hovers over any other part of either the taskbar or part of the screen not occupied by the openoffice window, the taskbar goes black (sometimes it flickers on and off). Moving the mouse over the parts of the taskbar that have flickered/gone black redraws them and they are ok again (until the problem is repeated - i.e. by letting openoffice have focus and then hovering the mouse over a "non-openoffice" screen area). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I tested RC1, but same problem exists. I think this is display driver related, because it occurred only after installing proprietary driver. This is nvidia Quatro FX 1500, but also GeForce 7300 doesn't work.

I think you are right - I was also using a proprietary nvidia driver but did not install this with the update from beta3 to RC1.
