[Bug 413122] New: kiwi does no free loop devices
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=413122 Summary: kiwi does no free loop devices Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: PowerPC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: System Imaging AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: olh@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- before kiwi run, there are no used loop devices: sudo bash -c 'echo /dev/loop* | xargs --verbose -n1 /sbin/losetup || :' after kiwi run, loop0 is still busy with the buildhost image: kiwi -p /home/olaf/olh/opensuse-trunk/distribution/images/buildhost-suse-11.0 --root /tmp/kiwi-root && kiwi -c /tmp/kiwi-root/ -d /tmp/output/ + sudo bash -c 'echo /dev/loop* | xargs --verbose -n1 /sbin/losetup || :' /sbin/losetup /dev/loop0 /dev/loop0: [0803]:346143 (/tmp/output/buildhost-11.0.ppc64-1.4.1) /sbin/losetup /dev/loop1 loop: can't get info on device /dev/loop1: No such device or address ... After a few iterations, kiwi fails because there are no loop devices left. I think the 'umount -l' is the culprit. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
