After the computer restarts, I can't get any network connection. The network manager will continually stay in a state of trying to register an IP address. I have tried to restart the network (/etc/init.d/network restart) and also manuary shutting down the network connections (ifconfig eth0 (or 1) down and vis versa). The only thing I have been able to do to get it to work again is by restarting.
