Harald, what desktop environment are you using?
xfce4
Do you see events when running 'lshal -m' and/or 'acpi_listen'?
lshal -m shows Fn-F3 : 18:51:10.624: computer_logicaldev_input_4 condition ButtonPressed = battery Fn-F2 : 18:51:16.355: computer_logicaldev_input_4 condition ButtonPressed = coffee acpi_listen: Fn-F2 : ibm/hotkey HKEY 00000080 00001002 Fn-F2 : ibm/hotkey HKEY 00000080 00001003 FYI, just in case it makes any difference for these tests: in the mean time (before the above test) I've copied /etc/acpi/events/acpid_thinkpad_hotkeys and the script from 10.3 to 11.0-beta1 and Fn-F2/F3/F4 again work fine for me (TM). The powersave daemon is just a fallback for some functionality if there's no graphical application. So either have xfce4 provide a proper power management application or use the manual approach with copying over the old hotkey scripts. Sorry, but I have to close this bug as WONTFIX. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
