SLES11SP3 ist mptsas module version 4.28 included, but in OpenSUSE only 3.20?? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

For SLES LSI submitted a driver version 4.X, but since then lost interest to push this version to upstream. It's _so_ much easier to copy it to a new driver and disown the old one. Hence we have mpt2sas. And as this worked _so_ nicely, the whole exercise was repeated with mpt3sas. Each of them sharing about 90% of the codebase. And, of course, fixes for the old drivers are basically ignored from LSI. Hmm ... let me think ... No, doesn't make a difference. Even fixes for the current driver are ignored. Anyway. Sad story. Can I convince you to use SLES? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
