However, when you go to click on Software Manager nothing happens except the hard drive whirs a bit then stops. And the other YaST modules work correctly? Did you try running YaST also in text mode? (Run "yast" command in a terminal as "root" user.)

you know what. i've seen another bug report saying all sub modules don't load. i've also tried to use other modules in yast2 to no avail. this may well be a duplicate -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

i just tried using the text version of yast and it loads ok. however, if you wish to do an update it states that the update repo doesn't exist and i know it does -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
