However, when you go to click on Software Manager nothing happens except the hard drive whirs a bit then stops. And the other YaST modules work correctly? Did you try running YaST also in text mode? (Run "yast" command in a terminal as "root" user.)

i just tried using the text version of yast and it loads ok. however, if you wish to do an update it states that the update repo doesn't exist and i know it does -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The main YaST2 GUI runs fine, but individual modules don't load (either by launching them from the GUI or the command line). Manually installing libyui-qt8 via zypper fixes the problem.
