What is the output of
1. gsettings get org.gnome.brasero.config dao-flag
false
2. gsettings get org.gnome.brasero.config raw-flag

Can't there be "reasonable defaults"?
They are 'reasonable defaults' and are called quirks for a reason: so many HW vendors just can't follow documentation and the software has to workaround it. Try switching the flags and find the combination thay works for your burner. dao (disc-at-once) is the most likely candidate for success -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
