[Bug 1166889] New: Please package OpenDyslexic
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1166889 Bug ID: 1166889 Summary: Please package OpenDyslexic Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Patterns Assignee: lubos.kocman@suse.com Reporter: herzenschein@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello, I'm not certain if I'm reporting this on the correct product/component, but I believe OpenDyslexic should be available on openSUSE's default repositories, though obviously not installed by default. It's an open source font whose intent is to improve readability for people with dyslexia. It's not effective on every dyslexic person since there are several types of dyslexia, however its absence may be impractical for those who use it and may constitute an accessibility issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

FYI, the package was already accepted into M17N:fonts and is now on its way to Factory (see https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/808821). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1166889 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1166889#c4 --- Comment #4 from Thiago Masato Costa Sueto <herzenschein@gmail.com> --- Hello again. I'd like to extend this request. Now on Tumbleweed there's the package antijingoist-opendyslexic-fonts . Could you please update it to include OpenDyslexic3, OpenDyslexic Mono and OpenDyslexic AltA? The currently packaged version is OpenDyslexic version 2, I believe. I don't think it's necessary to deprecate it, but rather ship it together with version 3. OpenDyslexic Mono can be used for terminals, and OpenDyslexic AltA is an alternate version that is more compact and thus more suitable for desktop use. I can provide the archives as attachments if necessary. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
