As I clearly said it is a KDE3 issue.
It is still present with openSUSE 11.1 (kdebase3-3.5.10-101.1):
- Select "Log Out..." from the KDE3 menu
- The "End Session for $username" dialog appears, with a "Suspend..." combobox.
I haven't found any way to disable the display of this combobox. For eg. kdm,
this can be configured in the kdmrc file:
[X-*-Core]
..
AllowSuspend=None
The reason why I would like to disable the suspend combobox is that it just
does not work on some machines (neither 2 RAM nor 2 disk, the machine would
suspend but no way to wake it up except cold reboot).
