So it's still there and used. On KDE, you can unintsall pulseaudio and pulseaudio-module-x11 packages. Also alsa-plugins-pulse should be uninstalled. On GNOME or other desktops, it's a different question. Also, you can change the sound backend on amarok and KDE menu. Choose xine backend instead of gstreamer backend. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Okay, I've deinstalled all pulseaudio packages now again (now RC2 not RC1 anymore).
Also, you can change the sound backend on amarok and KDE menu. Choose xine backend instead of gstreamer backend.
Does not help at all. In KDE the test sound plays fine, amarok does not play (not even after a clean restart of the system) any sound. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
