https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1209373 Bug ID: 1209373 Summary: Connecting to a new Wifi network from GNOME Shell requires root password Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: gnome-bugs@suse.de Reporter: gp@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- This is a regression that started maybe half a year ago, and I still encountered it this week: When choosing a new Wifi network (GNOME, NetworkManager) I am asked for the root password. This looks like https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1180230 except that was closed (and working) in 2021. Maybe the same, or similar, root cause? ( https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1204792 might be related as well.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
