This is a regression that started maybe half a year ago, and I still encountered it this week: When choosing a new Wifi network (GNOME, NetworkManager) I am asked for the root password. This looks like https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1180230 except that was closed (and working) in 2021. Maybe the same, or similar, root cause? ( https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1204792 might be related as well.)
