Windows experiences no issues at all. hardware is an Acer 4820t with intel core-i graphics and using whatever comes with openSUSE 12.1. i've attached a photo of the issue (sorry it's a bit blurry!) /dev/sda7 is formatted as ext4. system details: #uname -a Linux linux-decj.site 3.1.0-1.2-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Nov 3 14:45:45 UTC 2011 (187dde0) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux #df /dev/sda7 Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/sda7 37751320 4132560 32583208 12% /home Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The photo is blurry but good enough. The issue isn't a jbd issue, it's a BUG in cache_alloc_refill, in the depths of the VM code. The scheduling while atomic is due to the framebuffer console scheduling during the oops. Have you ever run into this again? My only other suggestion is going to be to enable kdump to capture the original oops and complete log message. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
