[Bug 906068] New: Evolutuon crashes with a SIGFPE when opening calendar
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906068 Bug ID: 906068 Summary: Evolutuon crashes with a SIGFPE when opening calendar Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 201411* Hardware: x86-64 OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Evolution Assignee: bnc-team-evolution@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: tittiatcoke@gmail.com QA Contact: lakhil@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Evolution (version 3.12.8) works fine, except when switching to the calendar function. There the program either directly crashes or about 20 seconds after with a SIGFPE. Running evolution through gdb indicated the following: Program received signal SIGFPE, Arithmetic exception. 0x00007fff9a274d8f in e_day_view_convert_position_in_main_canvas ( day_view=day_view@entry=0x37d6710, x=x@entry=289, y=y@entry=20, day_return=day_return@entry=0x7fffffffd378, row_return=row_return@entry=0x7fffffffd374, event_num_return=event_num_return@entry=0x7fffffffd37c) at e-day-view.c:8158 This means that Evolution is no longer working with regards to the calendar -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906068 --- Comment #1 from Raymond Wooninck <tittiatcoke@gmail.com> --- As additional information: The crash only occurs in the Day and Work Week views. The week, month and list views are working properly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906068 --- Comment #2 from Raymond Wooninck <tittiatcoke@gmail.com> --- Seems that this only happens when a different GTK theme has been chosen. Returning to the Adwaita theme restores the functionality -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Considering this is 4 GNOME Releases behind, I have to assume it being fixed (and I will work on getting EVO away as a component.. that's terrible) RESOLVED/UPSTREAM (which likely caught this somehow/somewhen) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
