Confirmed that `gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background.lockdialog picture-uri file:///usr/share/wallpapers/openSUSEtumbleweed-1920x1080.jpg` stops the message.
What is this supposed to do? I see no visible differences in backgrouns on the lock or gdm screen, even after restarting gdm.
You you should change the gsettings key as the user gdm via: 1. Run `xhost +SI:localuser:gdm` 2. Switch to root user in the terminal 3. Lanch dconf-editor by `sudo -u gdm DISPLAY=:1 dconf-editor` 4. Change picture-uri to your prefered pics and both primary-color and second-color to #000000 ------------- There is also cmd way to change the dconf value: 1. Switch to root user in the terminal 2. Run `sudo -u gdm dbus-launch gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background.lockdialog picture-uri/primary-color/second-color your-customed-value` Please refer to boo#1172826 for more information. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
