The workaround is to keep booting with the old kernel while it's still available in the system. It's unclear what blocks timely updates for kernel-firmware-nvidia-gspx-G06-cuda, since kernel-firmware-nvidia-gspx-G06 (the non-CUDA counterpart) is at the correct version 565.57.01, and both are shipped by openSUSE.
