http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=966624 Bug ID: 966624 Summary: Bacula installation failure Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: marc@marcchamberlin.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Bacula fails to install properly in 13.1, 13.2, and Leap42.1 The problem is that the installation/setup process fails to create the directory /var/run/bacula This is where a PID file has to be created for each of the bacula daemon processes. I had to create this directory by hand, assign proper ownership and permissions in order to get the various daemons to run. I got the bacula files from https://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=Archiving%3ABackup&package=bacula -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
