Bacula fails to install properly in 13.1, 13.2, and Leap42.1 The problem is that the installation/setup process fails to create the directory /var/run/bacula This is where a PID file has to be created for each of the bacula daemon processes. I had to create this directory by hand, assign proper ownership and permissions in order to get the various daemons to run. I got the bacula files from https://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=Archiving%3ABackup&package=bacula
