Line 3 in output of "ifstatus eth0" changed from eth0 DHCP client NOT running to eth0 DHCP client NOT running, because it got an infinite lease and $? from that command changed from 7 to 0. I guess that's what you intended, and will allow the final internet connection test and update to work in installations of future SuSE releases incorporating that patch. As for activating updates in my 10.1 system, I have already solved that problem by installing Smart.
