https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227410 Summary: Support for USBFS removed from default kernel Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: UNIX Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: tony@autonymous.com QAContact: qa@suse.de The default 2.6.18 kernel shipping with OpenSuSE 10.2 GM has USBFS support removed. I'm not sure what type of problems this causes for regular users, but VMware users (Both workstation and server) will lose support for USB devices in guests. Users forced to compile a custom kernel with USBFS for USB support in VMWare guests. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
