Ray,
Can you please also post the exact error messages you received?
I am sorry, but I now think that I have wasted your time. I do not use LIRC and presume it is included in a default pattern. After lirc-core failed to unpack during “zypper dup” to RC1, I first tried two manually selected mirrors (GWDG.de and mobile-central.org) before deleting all LIRC packages using YaST (ncurses) SW Manager and the “Clean UP” options. The unpack failure occurred after download (no signature warning) and prior to installation. Prompted by your request I tried re-installing lirc-core and it installed flawlessly: ___________________________________________ toyb:~ # zypper in -r 42.2-NonOss-gwdg lirc-core Loading repository data... Note how in beta3 the .pyc files are links to .pyo and in rc1 .pyo links to .pyc. This is an issue of fdupes that does not create reproducible results.
The %fdupes macros in Leap 42.2 doesn't run fdupes with the "--order=name" flag, hence the non-determinism. I'll submit a fix ASAP. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
