The widgets remained frozen until the pop up "Moving completed" appeared. Sometimes the moving actions were never completed (although the files were moved successfully). A workaround for this was to log out and log in. The issue was reproduced on a "Samsung M3 Portable HDD" formated with ext4, the files were moved inside the same filesystem.
