I would propose navigational link in the left sidebar of the Main page that will bring users to http://wiki.opensuse.org/Portal:Hardware . That way users can select it from any page in the wiki. This means that we present search results from Main and Portal first. It does not hinder us to append search results from other Namespaces below these results. IMO, it is better to use HCL search in Portal, plus multiply search box on every hardware related page. I guess this should be discussed on a mail list, as there are other options, like separate wiki, then smolt server plus wiki, but somewhat improved to what we can see at http://smolts.org .
