Extending search function default scope can appear attractive to reach as many articles as possible, but it will defeat purpose of namespaces and opportunity to have distribution presentation created in Main as first thing that new user can see. I some earlier mails I commented on pushing SDB in a first plan, as not the best option. We want to help users with problems to find solution, but we don't want to push solutions to problems to every user. I'm pretty sure from Coolo's statistics page and number of posts in forums and mail lists that number of users that have problems is much smaller then those that have installation just working. Ditto, default search that can be found on the top of every page should work on Main and Portal namespaces. The rest should be limited by task that wiki visitor wants to do, similar as boxes for directed search in http://wiki.opensuse.org/Portal:Support . -- Regards Rajko, -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
