[Bug 1077855] New: After upgrade from openSUSE 42.2 I cannot delete emails in KMail
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1077855 Bug ID: 1077855 Summary: After upgrade from openSUSE 42.2 I cannot delete emails in KMail Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: U.Koehler@gmx.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Upgraded from openSUSE 42.2 to 42.3 on my backup computer. Almost all went well, however, after the restart I could not see any emails initially. I managed to fix that by changing the layout settings and changing them back. The show stopper to move my main machine is that for local and imap folders "move to trash" is greyed out. Seems like the delete key is working, however. The bigger problem is that when right clicking the trash folder the option to clear the folder is gone completely. I did issue an akonadictl fsck and restarted akonadi. That did not help. The trash folder is set correctly for the imap sever in the access settings. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

When right clicking the trash folder and choosing "Alle Emails in den Papierkorb werfen" (move all emails to trash), I get a dialogue the asks if I am sure that I want to empty the trash folder. This option is located right were (empty trash) was in the previous version. That is very confusing and a big step back from the previous version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
