However when trying to copy and paste a file to a Netware "drive", I get a dialog stating "There is not enough space on destination". Performing the same functionality with Konqueror has no problems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

While I have been looking into another novfs issue, I decided to take a look at this as well.
I believe the attached patch should address this issue (well it does for me at least).
I've only tested with with 'df' but I think the issue with Nautilus should also be addressed.
I've just tested this on my box, and things seem to be working. Thank you Mark for the patch! You don't know how long we've been waiting for this ;-) Gnome is reporting free drive space now, so is open office. We see the same df commands. We're using the OpenSUSE kernel 2.6.22-17.0.1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Is there any chance to get this backported to opensuse 10.3? I am not a developer so i can not patch this by myself.
Sure, Lonnie can just check in an updated package to the build system and push it out to the update servers. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Mark, how'd you get it to work with Beta2?
I've tried compiling the novfs kernel (2.0.0) from iso and I get the following, before and after the patch:
No, just use the version of novfs that comes _with_ the Beta2 kernel package, no extra package is needed at all, and no building of kernel modules is needed. just do a 'modprobe novfs' from the command line and you should be ready to go. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
