[opensuse-bugs] [Bug 1179374] New: vim does not read suse.vimrc anymore
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1179374 Bug ID: 1179374 Summary: vim does not read suse.vimrc anymore Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: luizluca@tre-sc.jus.br QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello, It looks like /usr/share/vim/current/suse.vimrc is not used anymore because /usr/share/vim/current/defaults.vim has " include SUSE tweaks ru suse.vim 'suse.vim', not 'suse.vimrc' Anyway, I would love some way to add incremental files to vim config (conf.d style), just like I can do with systemd files. for rcfile in split(globpath("/usr/share/vim/current/vim.d/", "*.vim"), '\n') execute('source '.rcfile) endfor for rcfile in split(globpath("/etc/vim.d/", "*.vim"), '\n') execute('source '.rcfile) endfor Or maybe "ru rcfile" would be better. I'm not an expert in vim. I just didn't test if globpath return files in alphabetic order or filesystem order... it should be the former to allow (01_file1.vim, 02_file2.vim...) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
