sent everything by email:
after you import, click on IPv4 settings --> routing --> use this connection only for resources in this network (words may change, i'm translating back from italian)
of course i know you are a good guy and you'll NOT try to break my SLES machine right? :) :D, I just make a test for connecting, please don't worry.

for the records.. i wasn't yet able to reproduce using openvpn as root from the command line
Sorry for late, a little busy, the openvpn must use root permission. Is it still exist? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

what i meant is:
using the command:
openvpn --config whatever.ovpn
the problem doesn't occur. it only manifest when using network manager (nm-applet in particular) to connect/disconnect
Do you still have this issue in 12.1? Thanks! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
