I needed to create some virtual machines in KVM with Leap 15.2 for Server trainings. By trying to setup OS openSUSE Leap 15.2 from a NET install ISO image on a VM in KVM I found out that using DHCP makes installation possible. But if I set a static address for the NIC installation is not possible because of missing connection to Internet.

Obviously incorrect/invalid IP setup or missed connectivity or some other (e.g. wrong vlan or bridge selected on the VM host, ...) external issue. And "of course", the report does not provide any details about the static configuration, ... I've just tried to reproduce it and attached the screenshots of my attempt in comments above -- works fine.
